Ladybug Fund Virtual Winetasting Preview

Since 2001, The Ladybug Fund has helped children with disabilities and their families to meet their everyday challenges -helping them to learn and grow through their experiences at SOAR365.

Last year, the pandemic delayed our signature event but has not dampened our spirit! We have created a virtual preview in the spring and transitioned the main event from indoors to outdoors in the fall in order to allow for the safest environment for all the attendees.

This online preview will feature an interactive exploration of three varietals with award-winning winemaker Marcus Notaro of Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and our very own SOAR365 board member Thom Horsey, a 40-year veteran of the wine industry.

 So how does this work?

1.    Buy a ticket to the Ladybug Fund Virtual Winetasting Preview.

2.   Purchase the wine. These are the wines that we'll be exploring - buy one, two, or all three:

     Stag's Leap Wine Cellars 2018 AVETA Sauvignon Blanc 
     Stag's Leap Wine Cellars 2018 KARIA Chardonnay
     Stag's Leap Wine Cellars 2018 ARTEMIS Cabernet Sauvignon

While the actual selection in each store is determined by the individual store, most of the larger stores carry the Stag's        Leap Wine Cellars Karia Chardonnay and Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon. We have located 4 stores in the area that do carry all three of the wines. You can choose to purchase one, two, or all three varietals.

Save the date, Friday, September 17, 2021, for our main event; the Ladybug Fund Winetasting and Silent Auction. To allow for the best possible chance to have a safe and fun event in 2021, we are moving from indoors to outdoors and from spring to fall. This year's event will be held at PARK365, our all-inclusive, accessible, and award-winning park.

Your Impact

Your partnership supports children and youth programs of SOAR365.    

• Pediatric Therapy is for newborns through school-aged children who have developmental challenges. 30% of Pediatric Therapy participants will not need special education. Pediatric Therapy, helping newborns and toddlers with disabilities, along with their parents, to reach their highest potential. 
• Children & Youth Program provides services for school aged children (5 to 21 years) after school and during extended hours when school is not in session. 95% of participants in our Children & Youth Program who made progress on their health and safety goals. Teens and kids will participate in a robust Children & Youth Program when school is not in session, acquiring new skills, completing homework assignments and reinforcing lessons learned at school and home.  
• Summer Camp and Respite gives a loved one a caring place to go - and grow - so parents can take time to care for themselves. 90 families benefitted from our Respite Program in 2019.  You provides parents with a break from the high level of care their children need by supporting SOAR365's Summer Camp & Respite Programs. While parents rest or tend to other family responsibilities, children enjoy skill building and fun activities on our 22-acre Camp Baker location. Summer Camp gives children and adults with disabilities an opportunity to have the complete sleepover camp experience.  100% of campers' families and caregivers recommend our Summer Camp to others.
